The short version
Your files never leave your device. All conversions and compressions happen entirely in your browser. We do not collect, store, or transmit your files or their contents — ever.
Files and conversions
Every tool on Zamazing runs client-side using browser APIs and WebAssembly. When you drop a file into a tool, it is processed locally on your device. Nothing is uploaded to our servers because we do not have servers that handle files. The resulting output is also generated and downloaded entirely within your browser session.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-first analytics service that does not use cookies and does not track individual users across sites. It collects aggregated page view counts and referrer information to help us understand which tools people find useful. No personal data or fingerprinting is involved.
Cookies
We do not set any cookies. Cloudflare Web Analytics is cookie-free by design. If you have browser storage data from Zamazing (for example, saved preferences), it stays on your device and is never sent to us.
Advertising
Zamazing may display ads in the future to cover hosting costs. If and when we add advertising, we will update this policy to explain exactly what data the ad provider may collect and give you clear options to manage it. We will not add advertising without updating this page first.
Third-party services
The Zamazing website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may log standard server access data (IP address, browser type, pages visited) as part of operating their network. This is governed by Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Children's privacy
Zamazing is a general-purpose file conversion service and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Zamazing after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
